At was the time of the bugatti veyron on the Top Gear track?

Did they actually test it on the track?|||Bugatti will probably never let Top Gear test the Veyron on the track because it is simply an old airplane parking lot and a few landing strips. Bugatti did, however, allow James May to drive the Veyron to top speed (253 mph) on Volkswagen's own test track in Germany. Obviously, this is because Bugatti is owned by Volkswagen, and that is the exact test track where the amazing Veyron was born.|||i dont think they tested it but just tried to see what speed they could make it go. they got up to around 300mph or kph(im not sure which)|||Bugatti wont let them test it around their track.|||Bugatti will not let them put the press car around the track.

They're literally waiting for someone who owns one to let them borrow it.

Also, it hit 400kph or 252mph not 300 anything
