What would happen if you put wings on a bugatti?

can you tell would i die if i put convertible wings on a bugatti going 170 miles an hour?|||It may fly if the wings were designed as to only provide uplift when the speed of 170mph is reached but saying that the wings would need to be a considerable size to lift what i predict you are talking about is a veyron which is 2.5 tonnes, it would need some amount of upforce. But you would also need a run way as the main road would not be wide enough and then the result would be a crash, a few fatalities and a collosal bill. And then when you are in the air you would have to be a good pilot to be able to control a car and a flying car that wasn't designed to fly as you would only be able to fly for a few seconds as there is no forward motioin as soon as the wheels lift of the ground.

But if all of these things are all considered a bugatti traveling at 170mph with wings on could lift of the ground but i doubt it would be a controlable flight.|||maybe if you were clever you'd tell us what model of Bugatti you are referring to...|||Assuming you had long enough wings with enough stability and surface area to provide lift, then you would rise off of the ground..

and then you would stop accellerating ..this means that you will lose liftoff...

if you are high enough off the ground at that point, and the wings are unbalanced enough you can picture the result..

...same as all the stunt car jumps you have seen.. the nose end rolls down because that is where the weight is, and your car, like Howard Hugh's famous "Spruce Goose" completes its only flight.

(insert crash sounds here)|||Once off the road, you would also need rudder, stabilizers, ailerons, etc., if you did not want to die.
