Is Bugatti Veyron the most expensive car in the world?

If so how much does it cost and how fast does it go and where do they sell it?|||The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is the most expensive exotic car bought new, with a price of between $1,440,800-$3,000,000 (depending on where you are). It can be bought anywhere, yet will build around 300 within 5 years (all have to be asked for and delivered from Bugatti to the owner's country since they have no dealers).

The fact is I saw one of these Bugatti Veyrons in a driveway of some rich guy's house somewhere outside of Sacramento, Ca (this guy must be some multi-millionaire, his house was much larger than any house I've seen in this area) while I was driving around, so I an quite sure that a Bugatti Veyron can be bought in the USA.

The Veyron goes up to 253.81 mph (408.47 km/h) is the second fastest car (defeated by the SSC Ultimate Aero TT, which has a speed of 257 mph (413 km/h) on October 9, 2007). The Bugatti Veyron also gets 0-60 (97 km/h) in 2.46 seconds and 0-150 (240 km/h) in 9.8 seconds.

It's also fast in fuel consumption with 7city/10hwy (around 9.7mpg in mixed driving). At it's top speed for the whole time, it will only get between 2 - 3mpg (at that rate, it will drain it's 26 gallon fuel supply in under 13 minutes)!

However, The Bugatti Veyron isn't the most expensive car in the world. The most expensive car ever sold is the 1954 Mercedes W-196, which was bought by an industrialist in France for a price of $24,000,000 back in 1990 (sold again years later to a businessman in Germany for half the price). This car was a champion formula car back in 1954 and 1955.|||Yes it is. You can buy one in Europe. Probably goes 200+.|||No, it is NOT the most expensive car in the world. There have been Ferraris and other rare collector cars sold for upwards of USD $2.5 million at recent auctions. Some concepts, such as the sensational "Cadillac 16," are one-of-a-kind and therefore have an assessed value of whatever the market will bring, often in excess of $1 million.

The Veyron is an impressive machine and one of the fastest production cars in the world. But it is by far not the most expensive, even in terms of ultra-collectible cars. For Heaven's sake, the Crown Price of Saudi Arabia just bought a CAMEL for $2.7 million. That's about twice the price of a Veyron.|||Yes it is.

$1.5 million.

Most of them are sold in the Middle East.

You buy them from Bugatti. You need to call Bugatti and order one from them.

There are no Bugatti dealerships.|||It's the most expensive car from factory. Like someone else said there are other cars that have more value(A Bugatti Royale sold for $16 Million) , but from the factory its the most expensive. The prices on them start at $1.7 Million(1.9 Million if you want to buy one "used" without waiting on it). The Pur Sang was $300,000 more, but those sold out(5 of them) and they are now valued at about $3.5 Million. The Hermes edition is worth $2.3 Million.

[Edit: The Veyron tops out at 253 MPH]|||Yep. Costs 拢1m plus local taxes ( 拢175k) and are built to order and takes 300 man hours to build. The cars performance is awesome! 0-60 takes 2.5s and uses all of its 1001bhp to carry on going to 253mph.
