How long (distance) would it take the original Bugatti Veyron to hit top speed?

I know it did 0-60mph in roughly 2.5 seconds, and 0-187mph in 16.7 seconds, but how many miles of road would it take to hit its top speed of 253mph from a stop?|||In a mile race the Veyron was up to about 320kph (200mph) I think. It would probably need a few more miles worth of road for it to reach top speed though due to wind resistance.|||And it would have to be a straightaway: there's a separate top-speed mode that must be engaged before taking off, and turning the steering wheel more than a couple of degrees will disengage it.|||3 miles
