The problem is stability and longevity. Even the Veyron is limited by it's engineers to 256, not because it can't go faster, but because it becomes directionally unstable. Also, these cars are already tuned to such a high degree that to get even more power would seriously hurt the longevity and driveability of the cars. Clutches, transmissions, axles, etc.. would be prone to breakage and defects, the Veyron is already reported to have clutch life issues due to the incredible amount of torque.
These cars are engineered pieces, designed to function day in and out like a fine watch; they are road going art.
Sticking NOS on something like an Enzo, or CCR is something only an uneducated, lottery winning trailer dweller, Pimp, or language mangling, street running, NBA player would do. Seriously, any person that Mods up such a fine auto is the same guy who thinks Gold Pinky rings, Velvet paintings, Swimming pools in the shape of a martini glass, and spinning wheels are the heigth of hipness.
You may have money, but you can't buy class.|||a veyron can do 408 km/h on its own on a 3 mile stretch.it does not need nos.get your facts straight.

|||u prob could. **** if i had a supercar id throw twin turbos, nos and a bunch of other **** on it ahahhaha|||Yes, supercars can be equipped with nos, but most do not because that is not what they are about.
Yes, you're going to find that most supercars are fast and flashy. What makes it special is the feeling you get from them, not so much how fast they are.
When you have a Skyline modded out, you have a car that is supposed to be able to accelerate well, and thats about it. Tune it right, and you're going to also have a car that steers better.
Now consider this, you have a turbo 6 cyl/8cyl engine. It was not designed from the start to be an engine that can maintain a high speed for a long time. Having a supercar will mean that you have a car designed from the start to be what it is. It didnt start out as a car that was designed to be something else.
You will never feel the same way you do in a Ferrari as you do in a skyline.
And for the 300 mph part, you can make just about any car go that fast. I've seen a limo and even a big rig go that fast (jet engine).
Which again is why supercars are so special. You buy them with your heart, not your wallet. They can sustain the speeds they achieve. They evoke emotion.
So yeah, the ccx or the veyron would make a high speed (veyron is actually limited to 252, and you need a key to access full speed), but thats not what they are for.
I hope that answers your question.|||Ill spend my money buying an Corvette Z06 and twinturbo that will get me close to 300 mph and will pay lot less and still will be an Supercar..|||no it would not do 300+Mph with nitrous oxide alone you would have to do all sorts of other engine modifications to reach that sort of speed, nitrous oxide would only give it about 20mph for a short period of time but it would accelerate quicker but also for a limited period of time.
