I always wonder if you can modify a Bugatti Veyron even its power reaches to 1001 horse power. What could possibly go wrong if Bugatti Veyron was modified.|||You would have to engineer new tires. The Veyron is electronically limited to 253 MPH. The tires will fail if you go much faster than that.|||Of course you can, all it takes is an unlimited amount of cash. Even though it puts out 1001hp, it has to meet Federal smog standards in the USA, so it has been detuned or tweaked to meet them. Just a small increase in PSI will add more horse power. Removing a few parts of the smog system should add even more horsepower ie catalytic converters ruin exhaust flow and freeing up that alone would add even more horsepower. Modifications to the engine will void the warranty.|||Actually, they do not know the actual horsepower so they just say it is at 1001HP.
Yes you can modify it.
The 2009 Bugatti has about 100HP extra over the 2008 version.
